Maison Aljazi – L’Essence Extrait de Parfum is absolutely delicious.

The first thing that came to mind was a beautifully made vanilla-milk parfait: rich heavy cream, fluffy marshmallow, soft musk, and this smooth lactonic sweetness running through the whole fragrance. It is extremely milky and creamy—almost like you can taste it through your nose.

The raspberry keeps lingering between the creamy notes rather than taking over. It feels like eating an expensive dessert at a high-end restaurant in Dubai: polished, indulgent, sweet, and luxurious.

My instant reaction to L’Essence was that it smells very cute, but at the same time surprisingly sophisticated.

What really surprised me was layering it with oud. The combination completely changed the character. Suddenly, I was getting something like a cherry-marshmallow milkshake mixed with oud—creamy, fruity, woody, and incredibly rich. I genuinely haven't experienced oud presented this way before.

There is something very luxurious about the whole scent. It doesn't just smell sweet; it smells textured. Milk, cream, marshmallow, raspberry, soft musk, and that subtle cherry-like impression all seem to melt into each other.

I'm especially eager to try L’Essence during winter. In colder weather, particularly indoors or in an enclosed air-conditioned space, I think this could perform exceptionally well.

It already feels like a smell bomb—in the best possible way.
