Nuit d’Ambre - Extrait de parfum

**Maison Aljazi – Nuit d’Ambre** is an exotic fragrance that immediately intrigued my senses.

I would genuinely call it a rarity, mainly because of how beautifully the sand accord is integrated into the composition.

In the opening, the frankincense and amber come through together in a very harmonious way. They feel warm, smooth, and incredibly pleasant. In the background, you start to notice the black tea with a subtle hint of pepper, giving the fragrance this exotic, slightly spicy character without becoming harsh.

Everything is then wrapped in a rich base of leather, brown sugar, and vanilla. The cedarwood gives the whole fragrance elegance and structure, while the sand accord creates something very distinctive.

To me, it almost recreates the feeling of sitting beside a fireplace in the middle of a Bedouin sand dune—warm woods, incense, dry sand, leather, sweetness, and spice all surrounding you.

It feels rare, exotic, luxurious, and full of personality.

What also impressed me was the immediate reaction from the people around me. Right after applying it, I received a lot of compliments from my family and friends. The reaction was very consistent: they kept telling me how beautiful the smell was. That immediate feedback really stood out to me, because the fragrance clearly creates an impression from the moment you wear it.

I also tried layering Nuit d’Ambre with oud, and that took it to another level. The resulting scent immediately reminded me of attending a high-end Emirati wedding or an elegant formal event. The oud amplifies the richness and gives the fragrance an even stronger sense of luxury and presence.

What I appreciate most is how successfully this fragrance reflects our culture. The incense, amber, leather, woods, sand, and the way it interacts with oud feel very familiar culturally, but they are presented in a refined and modern way.

For me, Nuit d’Ambre successfully captures a part of our culture through fragrance.
